GRACE INN TO HOST 'FIRST LAUGHTER OF 2009'
"The First Laughter of 2009" is the title of the Ahwatukee Comedy Club's first monthly show next weekend.
The club will present magician Mike Fisher, billed as a comedian with "a joker or two up his sleeve," at 7.30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Grace Inn Hotel on 10831 South 51st Street and Elliot Road, Ahwatukee.
Mike Fisher is a corporate magician, entertainer and motivational speaker. "For 16 years, companies have relied on Michaels services in varied capacities," a Web profile says. "His professionalism, corporate-friendly humor and incredible capacity to captivate audiences are highly valued tools." Also slated are Manny Llanez and Tim "The Aussie" Bateman. The club marks its fourth anniversary this month. Because of adult innuendo, admission is limited to people over age 18.
